    • Story Atelier Stoess has been making Jewelry since 1886, catering to the Elite of Belle Epoque society, counting Tsar Nicholas II among his customers. He refused to join the Nazi party and fled Germany, returning after World War Two. The company began making jewelry for American soldiers, and this piece is one of them. This ring was a Christmas gift for a Soldier's wife, given to her on the steps of Neuschwanstein Castle. The couple lived happily for nearly two decades, until the wife passed unexpectedly from cancer. The seller is hoping a private buyer may bring joy to his beloved the way he once did.
