The Oval Cut is known to often have a "bow tie" effect due to the geometry of the cut, I can tell you that this diamond has no such thing. It's really beautiful. I took great pride knowing I did the research to find this diamond. I paid handsomly for it, and had it set in a custom band with additional smaller stones. It's beautiful. My wife and I are dissolving our marriage and it's too painful to have. She's worn it a few days a week for four years. It was removed of course when she was tasking on something involving use of her hands. I'm happy to provide more images, and as much information as you would want. I paid a total of $22,100 for this ring, the appraised value was $38,930.
