For the entire time I've owned it, the ring has been insured by Jewelers Mutual Group at a replacement value of $4887.  This is the description provided in its original jewelry appraisal by a respected, certified, G.I.A. Gemologist with 30+ years experience: 

"01. Platinum cast flora motif Finelli designer engagement ring finished in a bright polish.  Euro shank averages 1.9mm in width, and is finger size 6.  Metal weight of the piece is 10.41 grams.  Center stone is a round brilliant cut Charles & Colvard "Forever One" moissanite measuring 6.50x3.75mm and weighing 0.88ct.  Side stones consist of fourteen brilliant cut diamonds weighing from 0.01 to 0.02ct each (0.18ct tdw), clarity grades average VS2 to SI1 and color grades G to H.  Center stone is set in a six prong platinum head and sides are bead set."

    I hope this ring finds a new home with someone who will love every aspect of it.  My personal style went into this customized design.  I am a litigator and professor of law; I'm also the daughter of joyful outdoorsy hippies.  I love leaves, vines, pearls, nature, pin-up couture, classic beauty, flowy clothes, high quality at a reasonable price, and antique-looking jewelery.  I rarely wore this ring outside of family events or jury trials, so it is in great shape.  And I've never seen another piece like it.

    The thing I LOVE most about this ring is that it never spins on your finger because of the squared band.  It is the most comfortable ring I have ever worn.  It fits perfectly between the fingers.  The platinum band has a nice weight to it -- you definitely know it's there.  Yet, it feels elegant on a small hand even with its width and weight. 
     
    This ring is so comfortable and so eye-catching.  I had the stone's setting lowered into the band itself to stay flush with the leaves.  An unruly height on a ring drives me nuts and seems awkward with an intricate natural / floral / filigree design, which is why I chose to customize a Finelli rather than something like a Tacori.  I also had the original band's six-prong setting turned so that more of the stone is in view when looking from the side, also flush with the vines, which makes it easier to clean and to play with in the sunshine.  It is perfect for any nature-loving partner who enjoys bold, elegant, versatile, and unique styles.  Bonus: this ring will never get caught in your hair! 

    For those who love a unique piece with brilliant sparkle, this is perfect.  I am not a big fan of diamonds or moissanite - that was my ex's contribution to this ring.  So, when I decide to begin a new relationship in the future, I will be seeking a Finelli nature-based design without such a spectacular sparkle, but with the same feeling as this one.  I love it.

    Every time I wore this ring, whether in a suit or a casual sundress, I received constant compliments.  Literally, every time!  I once made a friendly bet with my ex on whether a stranger would notice it that particular day while out grocery shopping; and, yes, I won.  

    This ring creates happy memories.  

    I've only ever put love and good vibes into this ring.  I treasure it now as much as when it was new.  It is a true piece of art.  However, my life has moved on and it is time for this ring to find its Forever home.  It will be a stunning family heirloom someday.
