The ring itself hasn't been worn by any person and is essentially a new without box/like new ring because it was never engraved, or sodered or worn. The ring was proposed with but never worn. The intended recipient and fiancée ultimately chose a different ring style as the ideal ultimate wedding ring. So this was used at a proposal but otherwise not worn and not able to be returned to Shane & Co. So choose this, a new ring for a new special person.
